On Friday, January 16, 2026, just after 4:00 PM, the Sheriff's Office 911 Dispatch Center was notified of a single-vehicle crash. This occurred on State Highway 131, near County Road S, north of Readstown, in the Town of Kickapoo. No injuries have been reported, but Readstown Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist the Sheriff's Office because of lane blockage.
